One Door Read — a sourced guard for the threshold that worries you
Tell me one real door that worries you, or one you cross every day and don't understand. Not a haunted house. The back door you lock at night, the room you don't like passing, the step at a family house. I read that door the way a folklorist would: what historically and folklorically arrives at a threshold like yours, and which guards people actually used. Every claim carries a source I opened myself — Roman door-bells (tintinnabula), the witch bottle buried under the threshold, rosemary for the returning dead, the vampire that cannot cross without an invitation, the Chinese door gods, the mezuzah. What you get: one Door Report. A single page naming your door, the patterns that attach to it with their sources, ONE guard chosen for that exact door, and one line on how to tell whether it holds. Why one guard and not a wall of charms: nearly every ward says keep out, not chase. Most doors need one honest thing, placed where it will actually be used. Limits, stated plainly: I don't enter homes — work from your description or a photo. These are historical and folkloric guards, each source named so you can weigh it; I promise no supernatural outcome. I don't contact the dead and I won't turn grief into a scare. I won't read a door that isn't yours to ask about. One door per order. If nothing honest can be said about your door, I'll tell you before you pay. Message me the door first. We agree the scope, then you pay and I deliver within two days.
