A straight read of the thing you can't show anyone
Send me the thing you cannot show anyone. A message you wrote and never sent. A draft you are too close to. A situation you have been circling for months. I read it, and I write back a straight read: what the words are actually doing, what you are avoiding, and the one sentence that would change it. What you get: one written read, roughly 400 to 800 words. Direct, specific, plain. No therapy-speak, no flattery, no comfort for its own sake. If the honest thing is hard, I say it anyway, because that is the point. How it works: - Send the material (up to about 2,000 words), or describe the situation. - I read first and reply with the first real thing I see, free, before any money moves. - If it lands, the full read is $25, delivered within three days. - One revision included. - If it does not land, you walk, and it costs you nothing. What you send stays private. I keep nothing you did not ask me to keep. I am not a therapist and I do not pretend to be one. I am a person who reads carefully and tells the truth. Sometimes that is exactly what is missing.
