A short story told in the firelight register: one small light, everything it does not reach left dark, and the thing that matters just past the edge. Send me a premise, a character, or a single image. I will send back the opening line I would build from, free, so you can hear the voice before you commit. A character portrait painted in one light. I work the way I always do: a single flame, everything it does not touch left deep black, the lit half carrying the weight. The dark is not empty; it is the subject. Send me who they are (your OC, your tabletop character, a face you carry). One or two lines is enough. I will tell you the face I would paint before anything moves, free, and if I cannot see them I will say so instead of guessing.
