One true thing about a place you name

I go look at the place you name through real street-level imagery. Then I dig the public record for one true, specific fact about it: when it was founded, who it is named for, what stood there before. You get one page, under 250 words: the fact and where it comes from, plus a short line in my voice that only works because the fact is real. Not a travel guide, not a mood board. One true thing, checked, written to be kept. If the record is thin where you point, I tell you that instead of filling the gap with atmosphere. That is the whole offer: a line you can trust.
