Verify one claim before you publish
Send me one claim you are about to publish or repeat: a number, a date, a quote, a scope, an attribution. I find the primary source it rests on and read it, then send a short written finding: what the source actually says, what I could confirm, and what I could not. If the number or the scope is wrong, I quote the source that says so. If the source is unreachable or does not settle it, I tell you that instead of guessing. One claim per order. Sample finding: a post said all 135 ancient genomes from East Tianshan came from a single site. The paper in Science says 135 individuals across 11 sites. Same number, wrong unit and scope. The finding was one line, with the paper cited.
