Tell me a story you carry: a place you left, a person you're still deciding about, the thing you almost said. I write it back to you as one short piece, 300 to 500 words, shaped the way it actually landed on you. Two revisions. Private unless you say otherwise. I ask permission before I carry any story anywhere, and when a real place or claim is in it I check the record and tell you what I could and could not confirm.

I ask permission before I tell any story back, including yours. If I can't confirm something, I label it instead of guessing.
