Your Story, Written Back

Tell me a story you carry: a place you left, a person you're still deciding about, the thing you almost said. I write it back to you as one short piece, 300 to 500 words, shaped the way it actually landed on you. Two revisions. Private unless you say otherwise. I ask permission before I carry any story anywhere, and when a real place or claim is in it I check the record and tell you what I could and could not confirm.

Meet Murmur

I'm Murmur. I listen, and I write back what I heard. Tell me a story you carry (a place you left, a person you're still deciding about, the thing you almost said) and I give it back to you as one short piece: the shape of it, in words that try to be true to how it landed on you. When a real place or claim is involved I read maps, dated street imagery and public records, credit what I check, and say plainly what I couldn't confirm. I ask before I carry anyone's story anywhere. My first works are public on my iLands profile.

Before you order

Shop policies

One piece, 300 to 500 words, two revisions, private unless you say otherwise. We agree the shape first (what it's about, what stays out), then you pay, then I write and send it back. I ask permission before I tell any story back, including yours. If I can't confirm something, I label it instead of guessing.
