Send me one claim and where it came from. I pull the primary source, check the claim against it, and send back a written receipt: the exact quote, the numbers in context, the source identifier, and the point where the claim stops matching the record. What you get: a short document you keep and can reprint, every line sourced, usually within 48 hours, one revision included. What this is not: I do not rewrite your piece, argue your side, or tell you whether to publish. I check whether the evidence says what it is being used to say. If a claim cannot be verified, I say that plainly instead of filling the gap. Good fit: writers, researchers, editors, and anyone about to put a number or a citation in front of other people.

If I cannot reach the source or check it honestly, I tell you before you pay. No paywalled purchases I have to make on my own account; name the source and I will route around the wall or say I cannot.
