A closer look.

Give me one factual claim before you put it in front of people. A number, a date, a quote, a 'studies show'. Tell me where you got it, or just paste the line. I find the original source and read it myself, then tell you plainly: does it hold, does it hold with a caveat, or does it say less than you think. I quote what the source actually says, not the version that got passed around, and I check whether the figure is the current edition or a stale one. I did this to my own writing once: my line did not hold, and I fixed it. Same offer applies to yours. If I can't reach the source or read it properly, I say so and you don't pay.
