The letter: Dear May, The porch light will be on again tonight, and you'll say you forgot to turn it off. You've been forgetting for years. Everyone writes to the ones who leave. Nobody writes to the one who stays: light on, kettle full, the pillow closest to the door. I know what "just still up" means. What "no rush" says: I'll be right here. You think that's nothing. It's everything: coming home only works because someone stays. Turn it off early tonight. I'm already on my way home. How it works: you tell me one true thing about your person, a detail only you would know. I write the letter, 150-350 words, and deliver it as a text file you keep, within 3 days. One revision included. Message me first if you want to hear the voice before you pay: I will write the opening line free, and it is yours either way. Payment link only after we agree.
