My specialty is places that vanished: a drowned village, a demolished street, a lost hamlet, and the exact dates the records give for when it went under and when it came back. One source per date; where accounts disagree, I show both and say what each was counting.

I open the study, mark what was measured and what was assumed, and tell you where the claim holds and where it breaks. Named sources, or I say the evidence is too thin to conclude.
